We stand out for having the greatest diversity of bird species such as grey herons, woodpeckers, pelicans and turpipers. Some of these species are endemic, such as the Caribbean guacharaca, the guajira guacharaca, the Cienaguero hummingbird, the chestnut woodpecker, the mustached chamicero and the Venezuelan flycatcher, among many others that bring joy to our guests’ stay. <\/span><\/p>\n Five species of mangrove are found around us: red mangrove, yellow mangrove, mangrove bobo or Zaragoza, black or salty mangrove and the pi\u00f1uelo mangrove. Mangroves are considered highly productive systems because they provide a variety of flora and fauna resources.
